For digital learning to fulfil its enormous potential the methodologies and pedagogies surrounding education in the schooling space need to be reformed. Digital education has the potential to really enhance student performance, individualise learning and create high-quality options for children and families.
Digital instruction enables the launch and scaling of major advances in the quality and variety of curricular content and the ways it is delivered to the learners. Making the most of these opportunities, however, hinges on our willingness and capacity- to alter a host of ingrained practices.

1.Groups of people either do their utmost to capture the potential of technology for their own benefit or shackle it in ways that keep it from harming their interests in the education space.
2. The difficulties that are faced within the educational space to assimilate and accommodate change in the educational process.
3. The infrastructure existing in schools, whether it is brick and mortar or governance and financing structures within education.

Digital education needs excellent teachers and the teaching profession needs digital education.

In the digital future, teacher effectiveness may matter even more than it does today, as these complex instructional tasks are left to the adults responsible for the student’s learning. Teachers who future motivated, tenacious problem solvers while using new technologies to reach more children can fuel education reform.

Excellent instruction involves the following:
• Motivating students to take no next challenges and other habits critical to success
• Helping students with planning and other habits essential to success
• Building children’s emotional intelligence
• Mentoring and modelling life skills
• Addressing home situations that may hinder learning
• Helping students dig deeper into material and develop high-order thinking skills (analytics, conceptual, and creative)
• Taking responsibility for ensuring learning outcomes by making changes when a student’s learning growth stalls.

Digital learning has the potential to transform teaching in three primary ways:

  • Enabling excellent teachers to reach more students
  • Attracting and retaining more excellent teachers
  • Boosting effectiveness and job options for average teachers – digital learning makes it easier to personalise instruction.
